Making the most of your phone

​We love our phones and we hate them. In so many ways they are a tremendous tool for us, even in our spiritual life. In other ways they are a distraction. Here a couple of phone management ideas for your special time with Jesus:

• Leave your phone out of the room while you are alone with Jesus.

• Keep your phone with you so that you can use it for things like journaling, music, electronic Bible, etc., but set it to airplane mode and/or do not disturb mode so that interruptions don’t distract you. Most importantly, if you have your phone with you, resolve to not use it to distract yourself or to answer messages that are not an emergency.
